Filming on Star Wars Episode IX is well underway, and set photos have now appeared with cast.
While yesterday we got some Bigfoot-like photos of the Millennium Falcon, the new photos show us cast we know, and give us look at new costumes.

First up we see Finn (John Boyega) with Poe (Oscar Isaac) on a hillside with Chewie at the top of the hill with some unusual horses. From the clothes, however, it looks as though the Resistance does have some type of new uniforms as everyone has similar bandoliers, and Boyega’s pants match the woman at the top of the hill.
The bright orange on the bridles appear to me to be some form of CGI tracking due to the way it frames their faces. Orange is not a typical cover for CGI marks, but it is just so prominent you have to think that’s what it is.
As for the environment, it is unlike anything we have seen in Star Wars films before. (As I always say, it could match something from books, comics, or animated, strictly speaking live-action film here) This looks to be a new planet, but no clue aif it’s one we’ve heard of before.
Star Wars Episode IX is slated to film through the beginning of 2019 and then hit theaters on Dec. 20, 2019.
