Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker has a trailer and its magnificent.
The first Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker trailer gives us everything we need to kick off the anticipation of this film. From seeing Rey (Dasiy Ridley) has repaired the Skywalker lightsaber, to hearing Luke speak to her through the Force.
Of course, the biggest moments come towards the end of the trailer with what looks to be the remains of a Death Star – although we have no idea which one – resting on a planet. Followed by Ian McDiarmid’s iconic Emperor laugh. After the trailer played through once, McDiarmid appeared on stage at Star Wars Celebration and said in his Emperor’s voice, “Roll it again.”
Is the Emperor back in this film? Maybe as a Force Ghost? Only time will tell.
Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker will hit theaters on Dec. 20.
