It looks as though a lot of new releases were complete misses.

Shazam! took the top spot this weekend with $25.14M and now stands at $94.91M domestically. Globally it has hit $221.21M off of a $100M budget.

Second place went to Little with $15.49M off of a $20M budget.

Hellboy landed in third place with $12M off of a $50M budget. It looks as though the reviews truly sank this one.

Fourth place went to Pet Sematary with $10M for a new domestic total of $41.12M and a significant fall of 59%. Globally it sits at $76.82M off of a $21M budget.

Dumbo landed in third place with $9.18M, bringing its domestic total to $89.94M. Globally it has hit $266.94M off of a $170M budget.

This week’s wide-release will be Breakthrough and The Curse of La Llorona. We suspect the latter will come in the top spot next weekend with Shazam! enjoying a nice second place slot.
