In a not so surprising move, Hulu will be bringing The Runaways to an end with its upcoming third season.
While The Runaways has been a popular series, Marvel is in a bit of a shift in directions at the moment when it comes to its television projects. With TV series being shifted over to Marvel Studios – and hence, under the control of Kevin Feige – the Marvel TV era is coming to an end. With the Runaways ending, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. having only one more season, that leaves only the upcoming Helstrom and the Hulu animated series projects as the only holdovers.
Along with announcing the end of the series, Hulu released a final Runaways season 3 trailer.
The creative team behind the Runaways promises that this was a natural ending point for the series, so, hopefully, we’ll be getting some answers to all of the lingering questions we have.
The Runaways season 3 will debut on Dec. 13.
