Disney updates its film schedule through 2023

Disney has finished combining its schedule with Fox, and now it’s ready to start making some big announcements. If you’re curious what your movie plans will look like four years from now, Disney is here to help.

Disney and Fox’s plans now run through 2023, and between all of the studios now under this umbrella, there are over 20 films per year. In a lot of cases there will be two films per month. As schedules go, this is a whole lot of movies to be sure.

First up, is 2020. While we’ve known most of these dates, there is one date of definite note here. The King’s Man has moved back seven months from Feb. to Sept. With two trailers are already out, this is a bit of a surprise. Essentially the film will need to restart its marketing cycle which is quite a bit of work.

Disney and Fox 2020 Schedule

  • 1/10 – Underwater (Fox)
  • 2/21 – Call of the Wild (Fox)
  • 2/28 – Wendy (Fox Searchlight)
  • 3/6 – Onward (Pixar)
  • 3/27 – Mulan (Disney)
  • 4/3 – The New Mutants (Fox)
  • 4/17 – Antlers (Fox Searchlight)
  • 5/1 – Black Widow (Marvel)
  • 5/29 – Artemis Fowl (Disney)
  • 6/19 – Soul (Pixar)
  • 7/3 – Free Guy (Fox)

  • 11/25 – Raya and the Last Dragon
  • 12/18 – West Side Story (Fox)

From here on out, things get pretty silly with “UNTITLED” being on the majority of dates. We understand the need for protecting plans, but it does seem a bit of an overkill to be honest.
