Mattel has announced two new San Diego Comic-Con exclusives that are sure to thrill Masters of the Universe fans.
While Super7 has been doing a lot of Masters of the Universe as of late – hello, Snake Mountain! – the company that created the line seems to have such an on-again, off-again relationship with it. Every so often the company will trot out something to keep us happy, and we’ll take it.
This time around Mattel is kicking things off with a Prince Adam and He-Man 2-pack based on the comic books. The new figures will include interchangeable hands and heads, and come with a nice compliment of weapons.
And, really, how can you say no to Adam in that vest?
The 2-pack will sell for $40 at the convention and a limited number will appear on shop.mattel.com for attendees to preorder them.
The second exclusive will be a Masters of the Universe Battle Bones Mega Construx Set. You’ll be able to build the famous Battle Bones figure carrier it will include four micro-figures: Man-At-Arms, Teela, Faker, and a flocked Moss Man. This set will sell for $30.
Our fingers are crossed that Mattel just fully embraces Masters of the Universe again at some point, but for now, we’ll take what we can get. Here’s hoping something happens when the movie is finally released.
And also be sure to check out Mattel’s Batman exclusives for the show.
