Joker wins a second weekend at the box office

Villains continue to dominate October.

First place this week went to Joker with $55M, a drop of only 43%. Domestically it now sits at $192.72M. Foreign totals sit at $351.2M for a new global total of $543.92M off of a $55M budget.

The Addams Family came in second with $30.29M.

Third place went to Gemini Man with $20.5M. It’s global total sit at $59.5M off of a $138M budget.

Abominable came in fourth with $6.17M for a new domestic total of $47.97M. With foreign box office it sits at $108.07M globally off of a budget of $75M.

Fifth place went to Downton Abbey with $4.9M. It has taken in $82.68M domestic, and $70M foreign for a global total of $152.68M.

This week’s wide releases will be Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and Zombieland: Double Tap.
