Daniel Craig is going to be on the sidelines of the Bond 25 production for a short break.
Rumors began circulating last week that Craig had suffered some sort of injury during filming in Jamaica. Now it seems this was indeed the case, and it will even require that he undergo surgery.
The official James Bond Twitter account announced on Wednesday that Craig would need to spend two weeks recovering from the ankle surgery, but production would continue during this time and there should be no change to the film’s release date.

This is just the latest issue to hit this film. From Danny Boyle departing to multiple script rewrites, this film is beginning to feel like it has a dark cloud hanging over it. Hopefully, the behind the scenes issues won’t impact what appears on the big screen next year.
Bond 25 will hit cinemas in the U.K. on April 3, 2020, while the U.S. will see it on April 8, 2020.
