Nintendo’s showing off Luigi’s Mansion 3 during E3 2019 this week.
Unsurprisingly, you’re playing as Luigi in an effort to rescue Mario, Peach, and others. They arrived at a hotel expecting a lavish stay, but it turns out to be a haunted property where his friends go missing. Yet again, Luigi needs to face his fears and battle ghouls in order to save them.
The Poltergust G-00 captures ghouls, and apparently, Luigi knows some new moves — Slam, Suction Shot, and Burst. Gooigi joins the mix, too. Made by Professor E. Gadd, this slim-based companion can slip through tight spaces and sharp objects.
Here’s the entire gameplay trailer:

In the new game, Nintendo’s introducing co-operative capabilities as well. Hand over a Joy-Con to a second player as Gooigi, and you can be assisted in your pursuit of extinguishing the hotel of any ghouls while rescuing friends. Also, Luigi’s Mansion 3 includes ScareScraper Mode for multiplayer gameplay locally or online. So there’s a bit more than the standard Luigi’s Mansion experience to enjoy.
Luigi’s Mansion 3 will be released later this year, but we’re still waiting on an exact date. We’ll let you know as soon as a release date gets scheduled.
