Venom Will Feature Two Post-Credits Scenes; Here Are the Details!

When Venom hits theaters on Friday, October 5, the film will feature two post-credits scenes, according to a new report. In fact, although the movie hasn’t officially been released, the same report has already spoiled what’s going to happen.

Note: There are spoilers ahead

According to MCU Cosmic, the first post-credits scene is a big one and may set up a potential sequel, should Venom do well at the box office.

In the scene, Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) travels to San Quentin prison for an interview with Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson). Fans of the Spider-Man comics will instantly recognize that name.

Apparently, Harrelson’s character will feature an appearance that makes him look like Pennywise the clown, but without all the makeup. During their interview, Kasady asks Brock if he wants to hear all the “carnage” about his serial killer exploits.

And that’s when the scene ends, no doubt hinting that a Venom sequel could feature Harrelson’s Carnage. How he obtains a symbiote remains unclear, but all will likely be revealed in due time.

The second post-credits scene has nothing to do with Venom and instead teases Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, an upcoming animated movie about the web-slinger.

Venom hits theaters on Friday, October 5.
