Night School Wins the Weekend at the Box Office

Despite a low score on Rotten Tomatoes, Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish still were a big enough draw to win the weekend.

First place went to Night School with $28M off of a $29M budget.

Smallfoot opened in second place with $23M domestically and $15.6M foreign for a total of $38.62M.

Third place this weekend went to The House With a Clock in its Walls with $12.51M for a new domestic total of $44.76M off of a $42M budget.

A Simple Favor had another healthy hold dropping 35.6 percent and taking in $6.6M. Domestically it has hit $43M and $10M foreign for a total of $53.26M.

Fifth place went to The Nun with $5.43M for a new domestic total of $109M. Overseas it sits at $221M for a global total of $330.01M off of a $22M budget.

This week’s releases include A Star is Born and Venom.
