When Riverdale season 3 came to a close, things were looking up for Archie, Veronica, Betty, and Jughead. And then we were shocked by a flash-forward that showed everyone but Jughead covered in blood and our favorite writer missing.
The CW has released a Riverdale season 4 trailer, and it looks as though we may be jumping around in time a bit. We see Jugs with the group, and then we see a search party calling out for him in the woods.
Is Jughead dead? Is that him buried in the coffin? Who’s hitting Betty with a rifle? Why does no one just move out of this insane town?
Hopefully we’re done with serial killers for a bit since we got a double dose of them in season 3. Maybe we’re back to simple issues like the Ghoulies and the Southside Serpents fighting over whoever gets to sell the newest candy-based drug.
We perhaps like this show a bit too much.
Riverdale season 4 will premiere on Oct. 9.
