The gang has set a new record. On Tuesday, FX has announced that It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia has been renewed for a 15th record-breaking season.
When It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia hit season 14 it tied with ABC’s The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet as the longest-running live-action comedy. Now there is only one record holder.
However, to be fair, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet had 435 episodes while It’s Always Sunny stands at 154 episodes so far.
Currently, there are no plans for the series to end, so just expect it to keep adding to its record over the next few years.
