Disney Plus announced all of its launch titles on Monday, and then it went a step further. Why not watch the Disney Plus trailer to see all of the upcoming titles?
The Disney Plus trailer clocks in at 3 hours and 17 minutes and just features some footage from each of the launch day titles. From Snow White and the Seven Dwarves to The Mandalorian, it’s all here.
While this is a cute idea, it’s such an odd selection of clips. Most of them are not what you would call “keystone” moments of the projects they’re representing. It’s still a great way to convey everything coming to the service, however.
It’s worth noting this is just the launch day lineup. Disney has every intention of adding additional content, so we should start seeing some of those gaps begin to fill in. There are some things that will never appear such as the Star Wars Holiday Special, but there are others we wonder about such as the old Disney shorts or episodes of the Wonderful World of Disney that used to air on television.
Hopefully, as time goes along, Disney Plus can become a form of Disney’s completist’s dream, but we’ll just have to see what the company’s ultimate goal is.
