Hobbs & Shaw wins a second weekend at the box office

At last, there isn’t a Disney (or Disney adjacent) movie in the top spot at the box office. It’s nice of it to finally share some.

First place went to Hobbs & Shaw with $25.4M for a new domestic total of $108.51M. Globally it now sits at $332.61M off of a $200M budget.

Second place went to Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark with $20.8M

The Lion King took third place with $20M at the U.S. box office bringing its domestic total to $473.1M. It has taken in $861.5M at the foreign box office for a global total of $1.334B.

Fourth place went to Dora and the Lost City of Gold with $17M off of a budget of $49M.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood landed in fifth place with $11.6M for a new total of $100.33M off of a $90M budget.

There are a ton of release this week with Angry Birds 2, 47 Meters Down: Uncaged, Blinded by the Light, Good Boys, and Where’d You Go, Bernadette.
