Every once in a while, we get a movie so bad it reaches a new level of awfulness. This year, Gotti takes that award and runs with it, and the Screen Junkies folks had to give it its own Honest Trailer.
It all starts pretty innocuous with John Travolta as John Gotti telling you his life story about the time he told his life story to his son while other people tell you the life story of John Gotti. It gives the word biopic a whole new meaning. Then there’s the countless lines it straight up ripped off from Goodfellas, the movie it really wanted to be.
But even that’s not as difficult to get through as the lack of storytelling, which is drowned out by the countless mob affiliated names dropped in the movie. It’s really hard to keep track of every character that’s loosely introduced in the movie.
