In 2016, M. Night Shyamalan’s Split burst into theaters bringing audiences back into the world established by Unbreakable. Now, Shyamalan is going to complete the trilogy with Glass, and we’ve gotten our first look at the the cast of the movie.
In a new spread in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, we get five new photos that give us our first look at some of the major players in the movie, including James McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb, Bruce Willis as David Dunn, Samuel L. Jackson as Mr. Glass and Sarah Paulson as Dr. Ellie Staple.
There is an unexpected splash of color in the images. One features the three main characters talking to Dr. Staple—likely about their delusions of being superhuman—to the backdrop of a very pink room.
In the other colorful image, Mr. Glass is seen rolling around in his wheelchair donning a stylish purple coat with matching gloves and shoes. He looks quite dapper, completed by an emblem on his shirt to signify his Mr. Glass moniker.
The last thee images don’t contain the same color as the first two but it does give us our best look yet at Dr. Ellie Staple, who will be responsible for trying to get the trio to stop causing so much trouble, and the return of Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke.
We’ll see exactly what type of trouble the three cause when Glass hits theaters on January 18, 2019.
