5 Surprise Mini Brands Series 2 – A bargain of fun

by Sean P. Aune | December 13, 2020December 13, 2020 1:00 pm EST

Zuru’s 5 Surprise Mini Brands line was a huge hit, and now it’s time for a second helping with Series 2.

If you aren’t familiar with the 5 Surprise line, they are balls that once you unwrap split into five segments. Each segment has a plastic covering, and inside you’ll find a surprise toy. There are several different series already, but one of the most popular is the Mini Brands line which you get miniature versions of popular household products. Series 1 was a huge hit, and now series 2 looks to have even made them that much more awesome.

Zuru sent us some of the Mini Brands Series 2 to check out, and we have to say they’re just as addictive as ever.

Mini Brands Series 2 adds even more well-known brands to the lineup of products. We opened 3 of the balls for this post, and we pictured everything in each of them even if we had repeats between the balls. (For instance in ball 2 and ball 3 we got the Classico sauce) There are more shelving units this time as well as shopping bags.

We did open a fourth ball while away from the camera, and we got one of the gold limited editions which we added in so you can see what one of those looks like.

Beyond being able to use these with your other toys such as the Sparkle Girlz dolls from Zuru, they also would be great for miniaturists. If you’re looking to fill out a miniature diorama, then you should definitely be looking into the Mini Brands Series 2. Also be sure to see what we thought of the Toy Mini Brands!

5 Surprise Mini Brands Series 2 are available from Amazon and Walmart.
