The Disney film release schedule is on the move once again, and there are some big changes.

Following the Disney Investors Day this week, Disney has updated several entries on its upcoming film release schedule. The earliest change takes place in the first quarter of 2021, but this stretches all the way to the end of 2023. Some changes are simply untitled films having names put to them, but others are schedule removals to small date changes.

  • The King’s Man – Previously dated on 2/12/21 moves to 3/12/21
  • Antlers – Previously dated on 2/19/21 is to be determined
  • Raya and the Last Dragon – Previously dated on 3/12/21 moves to 3/5/21
  • Free Guy – Now dated on 5/21/21
  • Death on the Nile – Moved to 9/17/21
  • Unknown Fox Movie – Previously dated on 9/10/21 moves to 2/11/22
  • Encanto – Previously listed as “Untitled Disney Animation,” now dated on 11/24/21
  • Thor: Love and Thunder – Moves from 2/11/22 to 5/6/22
  • Turning Red – Previously listed as “Untitled Pixar Animation,” now dated on 3/11/22
  • Black Panther II – Previously dated on 5/6/22 moves to 7/8/22
  • Lightyear – Previously listed as “Untitled Pixar Animation,” now dated on 6/17/22
  • Captain Marvel 2 – Moves from 7/8/22 moves to 11/11/22
  • Star Wars: Rogue Squadron – Previously listed as “Untitled Star Wars,” now dated on 12/22/23

We would still not consider any of these dates set in stone. The pandemic is still unpredictable and any of these dates could change at any time.
