The summer hear is causing a sluggish set of box office results, and this weekend was no different.
Toy Story 4 took the top spot at the box office this weekend with $57.93M. Domestically the movie sits at $236.92M. Combined with $259.6M in foreign sales the film sits at a global total of $496.52M.
Second place went to Annabelle Comes Home with $20.37M. It released earlier in the week and sits at $31.2M.
Yesterday opened in third place with $17M off of a $26M budget.
Fourth place went to Aladdin with $9.34M and a new domestic total of $305.86M. Globally the film now sits at $874.16M off of a $183M budget.
The Secret Life of Pets 2 rounded out the top five with $7.09M for a new domestic total of $131.2M, and a global total of $223M off of an $80M budget.
This week’s wide-releases will be Spider-Man: Far from Home and Midsommar.
