Stranger Things Rewatch Schedule – When to start

Are you planning a Stranger Things rewatch ahead of the new season? Then you need to have a battle plan.

There’s a strange side effect to binging, and that is that it seems difficult to remember the finer details of shows. With binging has also come the rise of the rewatch. In other words, the act where you watch something again to refresh your memory before the new season arrives.

Stranger Things 3 kicks off on July 4, so what do you need to do to prepare for it? Well, season 1 had eight episodes, while season 2 clocks in at nine. This means you have a total of 17 episodes to get through. if you decide to pace yourself with one episode per day then you need to start on June 17.

You also need to keep in mind that Stranger Things 2 had an aftershow called Beyond Stranger Things. These are not absolutely essential viewing, but they do give you some new insights into the events of the second season and how some decisions were made. We do recommend watching them.

What Will Happen in Stranger Things 3?

Netflix is keeping a tight lip on the events of Stranger Things 3. We do have a list of the episode titles, which do give us some things:

  • “Chapter One: Suzie, Do You Copy?”
  • “Chapter Two: The Mall Rats”
  • “Chapter Three: The Case of the Missing Lifeguard”
  • “Chapter Four: The Sauna Test”
  • “Chapter Five: The Source”
  • “Chapter Six: The Birthday”
  • “Chapter Seven: The Bite”
  • “Chapter Eight: The Battle of Starcourt”

And we, of course, also have a trailer that shows some things off, and a scene showing that Karen Wheeler (Cara Buono) still has a thing for Billy Hargrove (Dacre Montgomery). New Coke also apparently plays a major role in the story, or at least in the marketing.

With Stranger Things 3 hitting on July 4, we’ll have plenty of time to watch the series, but we’re all going ot binge it… and then rewatch it before Stranger Things 4 is released.
