Pixar has released a full Onward trailer at long last. While the teaser hinted at a magical world that has gone astray, the full trailer gives us a much better idea of the overall story.
Ian (Tom Holland) and Barley (Chris Pratt) receive a magical staff that will allow them to bring back their dead father for 24 hours, but things go wrong. Of course it does.
Knowing that this film involves a dead father, no matter how much humor it may show here, you know its Pixar and that means you will end up crying. If Pixar is good at anything, it’s making sure you need tissues when you go to the theater.
We love Pixar for this while simultaneously hating them for it.
… we’re still going to see it.
Onward will hit theaters on March 6, 2020.
