I know what you’re thinking. You just re-watched Deadpool 2, and you’re thinking, “I’d love to be a part of that team. I want to be a member of the X-Force. I want to hang out with Al and Dopinder and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (who eventually has to become Negasonic Adult Warhead, right?).” You want to take down bad guys in morally-questionable adventures with dangerous people who may or may not be wanted criminals in certain timelines. Well now, just head of the Deadpool 2 Blu-ray release, you can!
If you check out the official Deadpool website, you can fill out an application and submit it by following a few easy steps. First, download this baby.
Make sure to read the fine print, though. You don’t want to end up like the Vanisher or Shatterstar. Or Abraham Lincoln.
Next, once you’ve filled it out, post it to social media with the #ApplyToXForce hashtag.
Finally, the page also wants you to practice your superhero landing. Please don’t, though, unless you want to turn every bone in your body into dust.
There’s no word what Deadpool, Marvel, or Fox plans to do with these applications, so the answer is “probably nothing.” But we’ve all wanted to be part of a superhero team, and if anyone is going to accept us, it’s Deadpool.
If nothing else, this seems to suggest that the third Deadpool movie, tentatively set to be the X-Force film, is still on track.
Deadpool 2 hits Blu-ray on August 21, but it’s available in digital release right now.
