A second Charlie’s Angels trailer has arrived, and while it looks chock full of action and fun, we still are left asking what the heck the plot of the film is.
A trailer should give you at least some idea of what the story of a movie is going to be about without giving too much away, but with this one we’re just left puzzled. Clearly, a new Angel – Ella Balinska – is being trained to join the team, but it’s still not clear if that is the driving force of the story. The first railer didn’t tell us a whole lot either, so we’re guessing we just go with the idea either you’ll see this film or you won’t.
In Banks’ bold vision, Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska are working for the mysterious Charles Townsend, whose security and investigative agency has expanded internationally. With the world’s smartest, bravest, and most highly trained women all over the globe, there are now teams of Angels guided by multiple Bosleys taking on the toughest jobs everywhere. The screenplay is by Elizabeth Banks from a story by Evan Spiliotopoulos and David Auburn.
Charlie’s Angels hits theaters on Nov. 15.
