First place went to Aladdin with $86.1M domestic. Globally it sits at $207.1M off of a $183M budget.
John Wick 3 took second this weekend with $24.35M. Domestically it sits at $100.98M, and globally has hit $175.38M and is already the top film in the series.
Third place went to Avengers: Endgame with $16.84M. Domestically it now sits at $798.17M domestically, and globally it has hit $2.6777B, making it the second highest grossing film ever. Next target, Avatar at $2.78B. The difference is down to $110.49M. It dropped by $110M in the past 7 days, so there is a chance it may still beat Avatar, but it just isn’t definite at this point.
Detective Pikachu came in fourth with $13.3M. Domestically it sits at $116.12M and globally it has hit $352.92M off of a $150M budget.
Fifth place went to Brightburn with $7.53M off of a $6M budget.
This week’s wide-releases will be Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Ma, and Rocketman.
