Abominable takes the top spot at the box office

A kids film finally found its way to the top of the box office. It has been a while since that happened.

First place this week went to Abominable with $20.85M. With foreign box office it sits at $31.05M off of a budget of $75M.

Downton Abbey took second place this week with $14.5M. It has taken in $58.5M domestic, and $48.6M foreign for a global total of $107.1M.

Third place went to Hustlers with $11.47M for a new domestic total of $80.63M. Globally it sits at $95.43M off of a $20M budget.

It: Chapter Two landed in fourth place with $10.4M. Domestically it now sits at $193.91M, and $417.41M globally.

Fifth place went to Ad Astra with $10.14M for a domestic total of $35.52M.

This week’s wide release will be Joker.
