Rise of Skywalker wins a second weekend at the box office

The big news isn’t who won this weekend, but just how soon a Frozen III is announced.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker came in first for its second weekend with $72M for a new domestic total of $361.79M. Internationally it has pulled in $363M for a new global total of $724.79M

Second place went to Jumanji: The Next Level with $35.3M for a new domestic total of $175.45M and globally has hit $471.45M.

Little Women opened in third place with $16.52M and now sits at $29M domestically and $35.3M globally.

Fourth place went to Frozen II with $16.5M. It now stands at $421.29M domestically and $796.3M overseas for a global total of $1.217B.

Spies in Disguise opened in fifth place with $13.2M.

This week’s wide releases will be The Grudge.
