The Masters of the Universe toy line is back, and it’s coming out strong and fast in 2021.
We first got a look at the new version of the Masters of the Universe toy line at Toy Fair 2020. After that the line was released as a Walmart exclusive for 2020, and was a bit of a pain to find certain pieces. (Good luck on finding a Scare Glow)
Now, for 2021, the line will be released through multiple outlets, and it’s expanding quite a bit. Here’s the list of what’s coming out through July of this year broken down by month.

We were able to pickup a few of the Walmart versions of the figures and took photos you can check out in the gallery below. As with the original line, the packaging is not the friendliest to collectors. The weight being at the bottom with such a tall backer card just cries out for damage sadly, but it definitely honors the original line.
The figures themselves are close to the originals, but with some very welcome new elbow, knee, and ankle joints. They’re easier to post to be sure, while still keeping the feel of the original releases.
We’re super excited for the wider release, and also the love being shown to more of the original characters. Seeing figures such as Ninjor and Clamp Champ this early in the line is awesome and we can’t wait to get our hands on all of them.
