At long last, Disney Plus has revealed when we’ll be able to join the adventures of the Mandalorian and the Child once again. Mark your calendars for Oct. 30.

Lucasfilm announced the release date on Wednesday along with an updated logo for the series.

Absolutely nothing is known about the actual plot of the second season, but it looks as though it will be a busy set of episodes. Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) will return to menace our heroes, and Cara Dune (Gina Carano) has also been confirmed. From there, it’s an endless onslaught of rumors with Rosario Dawson reportedly appearing as Ahsoka Tano and Katee Sackhoff will reportedly appear as her animated character, Bo-Katan Kryze. Timothy Olyphant is also reported to appear in the series, but his potential role is fairly vague at the moment.

The Mandalorian ended the season with Mando and the Child escaping Moff Gideon. As the Razor Crest departed the planet, Gideon was revealed to possess the legendary Dark Saber, and that sets up numerous question for cans of The Clone Wars and Rebels.

It looks as though Mandalorian season 2 will be a busy one, and we can’t wait to explore more of this corner of the Star Wars universe.
