The LEGO Ideas project has approved another fan-created set, and this one is a doozy.
The LEGO Ideas Tree House comes with 3,036 parts, 180 of which are botanical elements. The twist here is that these polyethylene plastic elements are made from sustainable sugarcane. Considering how much plastic LEGO uses in a year, this is a big step for the company.
The set will go up for sale to LEGO VIP members on July 24, and then will go into general sale on Aug. 1. It’ll sell for $199.99 in the U.S.
