Fans of Grimm rejoice, it appears you may be getting a new spinoff to satisfy your cravings.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC is working on a new spinoff of Grimm despite the original series having ended last year after a six-season run. The new series would indeed be a spinoff as it would be set in the same continuity as the original and would just be an expansion of the established world. It seems the plan is to bring in some existing characters and mix them with new ones.
The new series is being developed by Universal TV and Hazy Mills with writer Melissa Glenn (Zoo, Leverage).
There’s no word on the current status of a pilot or series order, but we’re far enough out from the spring pilot season to think there’s a good chance that’s the target. Cross your fingers, but we may see some new Grimm stories come the Fall 2019 television season.
