DC Universe has finally announced a launch date and when we can expect to see its first show, Titans. Get ready for a lot of Batman!
During a livestream on Wednesday hosted by director Kevin Smith, it was revealed that DC’s streaming service, DC Universe, will launch on Batman Day, Sept. 15. Then, on Oct. 12, the service will launch its first original series, Titans, based on the long-running Teen Titans comic series.
DC Universe will be home to a rotating selection of content in order to keep the service fresh. There will be classic DC TV series such as Batman: The Animated Series – presented in HD for the first time – different comic offerings, message boards, a DC encyclopedia, and more.
DC Daily will also be a daily news show focusing on all things DC related and will feature rotating hosts and guests such as John Barrowman (Arrow), Samm Levine, Harley Quinn Smith, Hector Navarro, amongst others.
