Singing! Comedy! Zombies! The Anna and the Apocalypse trailer has it all!
Anna and the Apocalypse looks like one of those British comedies that will do ‘okay’ at the box office, but we’ll be quoting it 10 years from now and having special screenings. And with a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes thanks to festival screenings, it looks like that prediction may be correct.
A zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven – at Christmas – forcing Anna and her friends to fight, slash and sing their way to survival, facing the undead in a desperate race to reach their loved ones. But they soon discover that no one is safe in this new world, and with civilization falling apart around them, the only people they can truly rely on are each other…
Anna and the Apocalypse will go into select theaters on Nov. 30 and then expand nationwide on Dec. 7.
