The Amazing Race is coming back to TV this season despite all of the hurdles it is having to work through.

Speaking during the CBS TCA press tour appearance, Senior Executive Vice President, Programming, CBS Entertainment Thom Sherman said the show would return this season.
The series was in production on its 33rd season in Feb. 2020 when the pandemic began to really take hold and had completed three episodes, No indication was made if any of those teams would get another chance to run the race or if it will be all-new teams when production resumes.
No word on when exactly the series could return to air, but it’s going to be intriguing to see how the production will manage traveling across the world this time. With quarantine lengths varying wildly no matter what your vaccine status, we could see the racers in some new and unusual places.
