It was pretty clear from the end of Stranger Things 3 that Hopper (David Harbour) was alive and in Russia. Thankfully, Netflix and series creators the Duffer Brothers are just getting both those facts out of the way now. Not only did the Russian device transport him to Russia, but they’ve shaved his head and put him in a labor camp?
How are some kids from Hawkins, Indiana going to manage to get back their beloved sheriff from the other side of the world? The Russian Upside Down device was destroyed, and they’re going to have to learn he’s even alive first.
Stranger Things 3 left us with the kids a bit scattered as Joyce (Winona Ryder) left town with El, Jonathan, and Will. It’s going to leave us in an odd starting position for the fourth season, but we think we’re ready to take the journey with this show.
No word on a release date as of yet, so the Stranger Things 4 teaser is going to have to tide us over for the time being.
