Netflix announced on Thursday that it has renewed The Umbrella Academy for a fourth season that will bring the series to an end. There was no word as to when the season will premiere, but it is more than likely quite ways off.
At the same time, the service announced that it has signed a new deal with writer/director/executive producer Steve Blackman. Blackman will develop a new series based on the Playstation game Horizon Zero Dawn. He is also developing a series entitled Orbital that will be set on a space station orbiting Earth.
No timelines were announced for any of these projects, but The Umbrella Academy will be the first to move forward.
