If you’re used to catching your NBC shows on Hulu, things are about to change beginning on Sept. 19 as they move to Peacock.
After years of NBC shows appearing on Hulu the day after they air, that will all chance in Sept. As previously announced, new episodes of series such as Saturday Night Live, Law & Order: SVU, Chicago Fire, and more will now be streamed on Peacock. The episodes will be available with both the limited ads plan for $4.99 a month, and the limited ads plan for $9.99 a month.
“We are excited to provide Peacock customers with a comprehensive destination for streaming the incredible programming airing on NBC and Bravo all year long,” said Kelly Campbell, president, Peacock and direct to consumer at NBCUniversal.
This is a major hit to Hulu, especially with a looming deadline for Disney to decide whether or not to buy Comcast out of its remaining share of the service. What Hulu does to make up for this missing amount of content remains to be seen.
