The Orville season 3 finally has a premiere date on Hulu in the first quarter of 2022.

Hulu announced on Thursday that The Orville season 3 will debut on March 10, 2022, and it will also receive a subtitle. Make way for The Orville: New Horizons.
The new episodes will debut nearly three years after the conclusion of season 2. The series began its run on Fox and was set to stay there, but as development began on season 3, it was growing too large for the over-the-air network. Series creator Seth MacFarlane had promised new episodes in 2020, but the pandemic caused the series to continually shove its schedule back.
Season 3 will see MacFarlane return both behind and in front of the camera. He will again be joined by Adrianne Palicki, Jessica Szohr, Penny Johnson Jerald, Scott Grimes, Peter Macon, J. Lee, Mark Jackson, Chad L. Coleman, and Anne Winters. MacFarlane has also confirmed that Norm Macdonald had finished recording his lines as Lieutenant Yaphit prior to his untimely passing this month.
