After what seems like forever, we finally have a premiere date for season 2 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon. Mark your calendars for Dec. 5.
Fresh off winning eight Emmy Awards, and a couple of Golden Globes for good measure, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel will pick up season 2 with Midge (Rachel Brosnahan) continuing to grow her comedy career.
After Midge’s triumph at the Gaslight, the fallout from her takedown of Sophie Lennon looms large, making her climb up the comedy ladder more challenging than ever. As the actual grind of being a comic begins to take its toll on Midge, the pressure to come clean to her family weighs on her – especially as her choices have a ripple effect on everyone around her.
Seeing as the series has already been renewed for season 3, expect to see a lot of growth this year, but who knows how much resolution we’ll see.
Considering how good season 1 was, we’re very ready to dive into season 2!
