When last we left Gilead, June had just been shot after helping a plane full of children and Marthas escape to Canada. Season 4 is picking up where we left off and it looks like we’re in for a whole slew of new problems.
With Handmaid’s Tale season 5 already confirmed, you know we have to be building something even bigger. How will Gilead react to the children going missing? Will the Guardians catch up with June and her runaway Handmaids? We’ll just have to wait to find out.
The cultural phenomenon picks up where we left off, with June’s fight for freedom against Gilead. But the risks she takes bring unexpected and dangerous new challenges, and her desire for justice and revenge threaten to consume her and destroy her most cherished relationships.
