Ghostbusters: Afterlife is finally about to hit theaters after multiple delays, and Hasbro is ready with a large selection of new toys.
Hasbro sent us a selection of the upcoming Ghostbusters: Afterlife toys to share with our readers. First off, there is a good selection of nostalgia and new across the line. The Fright Features Ghosts and the Ecto-1 Playset harken back in style and art to the Real Ghostubsters line from Kenner without totally crossing into that realm.
The standouts, of course, are the Plasma Series figures for the realistic recreations of the actors. The line includes three characters from the original films and three of the new generation of Ghostbusters. If you pick up all six you’ll also be able to do the Build-A-Figure.
We opened up a Winston Zedmore and found the likeness to be spot on from his face to the all-important accessories. Our only complaint was the tightness of the fingers made getting the plasma wand in his grip a bit of a chore, but we finally got there.
Any fan of the Ghostbusters – old or new – will find something to like in this line.
