Alpha Group at Toy Fair 2020: SpongeBob SquarePants & Subway Surfers

Alpha Group was at Toy Fair 2020 with two popular franchises: SpongeBob SquarePants & Subway Surfers.

Starting off with the residents of Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob and friends are going to have a big year with the release of The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run. There will be new products based on the film as well as other items honoring the original television series.

DJ SquarePants – Be a DJ like SpongeBob, and create your own F.U.N. songs inspired by the beloved Bikini Bottom sponge! Preprogrammed with over five beats, simply “scratch” the music on DJ SquarePants by spinning SpongeBob’s light-up eyes, and add-in the various SpongeBob phrases and featured sound effects. The second toy line that was getting a lot of attention is Subway Surfers, based on the popular mobile game of the same name. The products coming out will be honoring both the game as well as the street culture it represents.

You’ll see products hitting the shelves in Aug. including figures, 2-inch Sub Surfer Shorties, Fresh Kicks Keychains, Street Jammers Plush, and a Bluetooth Boombox.

The game has been in the mobile market since 2012, and is currently listed as the second most downloaded game in iOS history, so there will be a lot of happy folks to finally see merchandise they can pick up for their favorite game.
