Zuru at Toy Fair 2020: 5 Surprise, Rainbocorns, Boppi, and more

Zuru had an amazing 2019, and it looks set for an even bigger 2020.

The company’s line of 5 Surprise blind packages is expanding. The Dino Strike series will get a series 2 with new Glow in the Dark features.

Meanwhile, Unicorn Squad will also be getting a series 2.

The big 5 Surprise line is still the Mini Brands, and series 2 is on the way. We saw a preview of what new brands will be added this year, but we can’t discuss them quite yet. All we will say is there are some top tier brands coming.

You will also be able to pick up a Mini Brands Mini Mart this year to display all of your brands in. It’s adorable and if you love the Mini Brands, the Mini Mart is going to be a must.

Last holiday season, of the hottest toys on the market was Pets Alive Boppi The Booty Shakin’ Llama. Well, Boppi is back this year, but in a new rainbow color, and with three more songs for him to bop his booty to.

He will also be joined this year by Fifi the Flossing Sloth who, you guessed it, dances the floss.

Joining the Alive series this year in Robo Alive series will be two new dinosaurs: A T-Rex and a Raptor.

Rainbocorns are going strong and Sparkle Hearts will be getting a series 2 this year. This will also be joined by the Itzy Glitzy minis and Wild Surprise line.

Over in the Oosh Cotton Candy line, you’ll find additional surprises in the cotton candy cones, but you will also be able to mix your own with the Oosh Color Mix Surprise. You never know what colors you’ll get, and at $9.99 it’ll be a lot of fun for the whole family.

It’s hard to believe, but spring is almost here, and that means thoughts are going to turn to outside play. Zuru has had great success with its Bunch O Balloons line of water balloons. This year it will be introducing Crazy Balloons to the property which will bring you even more colors to play with.

The X-Shot line expands with even more water blasters and will now include the Micro Fast Fill and Epic Fast Fill. The dart blasters will be adding the Turbo Advance and Dino Attack.

Fashion dolls aren’t cheap, but the Sparkle Girlz is looking to change all of that. There will be four different sizes of girls and they will be priced at $1.99, $2.99, $4.99, and $7.99. Yes, the most expensive doll will only set you back $8.

The whole line will have a fantasy theme running through it, but you can still play in modern times with them. The Sparkle Girlz car will run you $16.99, while the horse and carriage will set you back $19.99.

Sparkle Girlz is going to be an interesting one to watch this year just due to the affordability of it, and we can’t wait to see it in the marketplace.
