Black Widow has a new release date, and Marvel Studios is celebrating with a new trailer.
“You don’t know everything about me, I’ve lived a lot of lives,” Scarlett Johansson’s character Natasha Romanoff says in the new footage. We get to see some her childhood and a bit more of the back story she shares with Yelena Belova/Black Widow (Florence Pugh) and Alexia Shostakov/Red Guardian (David Harbour).
This is the first Marvel film to go with a day-and-date release schedule between theaters and Disney Plus. If you are unfamiliar with the system, you will need a membership to Disney Plus, and then you will need to purchase the film for an additional one-time fee of $30.
This is currently not planned to be the system that will apply to all Marvel Studios films, but with a growing backlog of completed films, releases needed to start happening one way or another.
Black Widow will hit theaters and Disney Plus Premium on July 9.
