Bandai came to Toy Fair 2020 honoring its past as well as the future of the brand.

First up, a bit of the past was on display as Tamagotchi is still with us. A new version will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Pac-Man and will add an invading ghosts mechanic to the usual Tamagotchi tasks. You’ll be able to pick it up for $19.99 unless you want the Pac-Man shell, and that version will run you $24.99.

An all-new Tamagatochi called Tamagotchi On will also be available that will allow you to connect two Tamagotchis together and play them together. It will also call in multiple colors.

Disney Friends and Tippies will also be hitting store shelves this year for $3.99 each.

Dragon Ball Super is all the rage right now, and Bandai America has plenty of new figures on the way to satisfy the biggest fans. New figures will be coming in four sizes: 5-inches, 6.5-inches, 12-inches, and 13-inches. All of the figures are in scale to one another which explains why Broly is 13-inches.

There will also be a Budokai playset this year. The prototype on display was unfinished, but there will be more interactivity to it once it’s done.

Bandai America will also expand this year with a new Anime Heroes line which will see three figures released each for Naruto and Saint Seiya.

My Hero Academia will be getting blind package collectible figures that you’ll find in major retailers.

The final new anime item for this year will be Charaction Cubes which are figure puzzles that represent famous animes such as Gundam and twist and turn like a puzzle cube.

It’s going to be a good year for anime fans in the U.S.
