The first Wonder Woman 1984 trailer has arrived, and boy do we have questions.
When last we saw Wonder Woman it was 1918, but now it’s 66 years later and she’s living a modern life in 1984. Everyone goes to the mall, and fanny packs are all the rage. And somehow Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) is alive.
We’re just as confused as you are.
Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) will be facing off with Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal) and Barbara Ann Minerva (Kristen Wiig) this time around. Diana and Barbara may be friends for now, but things are about to change there.
How does Trevor figure into all of this? We have absolutely no idea as of yet.
And before you even ask, the armor at the end is known as the Golden Eagle Armor in the comics, and we can’t wait to see it in action on the big screen.
Wonder Woman 1984 hits theaters on June 5, 2021.
