Hulu has announced that it now has all eight seasons of Who’s the Boss?. The series aired on ABC from 1984-1992. Danza played a former professional baseball player who moved in with his daughter to be a nanny for a single mother.
The big question this leaves fans with is the status of the revival. The project has been in the works since 2020, and there was an update as recently as 2022. At the time it was going to land at Freevee that also was showing the original series at the time.
Mike Royce will serve as writer and executive producer, while Brigitte Muñoz-Liebowitz will serve as co-executive producer. Norman Lear will also executive produce. While not involved with the original series, the series was added to his library under the Embassy Communications label, which is now a part of Sony Pictures TV. Danza and Milano will also receive producing credits.
With the move to Hulu we’ll have to see if there is any chance of that revival still moving forward.
