The Hunger Games wins a second weekend at the box office

The Hunger Games have returned to the top of the box office.

First place this weekend went to The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes with $28.82M, a drop of just 35%.  This gives it a new domestic total of $98.37M. It has taken in $98.88M in foreign markets for a global total of $197.25M.

Napolean came in second with 20.4M for a domestic total of $32.5M. It took in $46.3M in the foreign markets for a global total of $78.8M.

Third place went to Wish with $19.5M for a domestic total of $31.7M. Combined with its $17.3M from the foreign markets it sits at $49M.

Trolls Band Together came in fourth with $17.52M for a domestic total of $64.46M. Overseas it has taken in $81.28M for a global total of $145.74M.

Rounding out the top five was Thanksgiving with $7.15M for a domestic total of $24.19M. It has taken in $4.9M in the foreign markets for a global total of $29.09M.

This week’s wide releases are Animal, Godzilla Minus One, Renaissance, The Shift, and Silent Night.
