The War With Grandpa takes the top spot at the box office

Another weekend has come to a close for theaters across the U.S., and things are looking even bleaker than before.

First place this weekend to the new Robert De Niro comedy, The War With Grandpa. It took in $3.6M for a global total of $4.98M.

Tenet came in second with $2.1M for a new domestic total of $48.3M and a global haul of $323.3M off of a $200M budget.

Third place went to Hocus Pocus which toom in $1.1M from 2,113 screens.

The New Mutants landed in fourth with $685K for a new total of $21.99M. Globally it sits at $42.99M off of a $67M budget.

Fifth place went to Unhinged with $660K.

With some theaters shut down, these numbers aren’t going to be improving any time soon.
