Warner Bros. is on the move once again, and it is shifting its release schedule well into 2023.

With the news that Cineworld/Regal Cinemas are temporarily shutting down, schedule changes seemed all but inevitable. First out of the gate was Warner Bros. with a laundry list of changes.

The Batman has moved back by five months, and Dune by 10 months. The Flash moved back by several months and landed on a date previously occupied by Shazam: Fury of the Gods, moving that movie back to mid-2023.

Meanwhile, Matrix 4 actually moved up while Black Adam and Minecraft are now undated.

  • Dune – Oct. 1, 2021
  • The Matrix 4 – Dec. 22, 2021
  • The Batman – Mar. 4, 2022
  • The Flash – Nov. 4, 2022
  • Shazam! 2 – Jun. 2, 2023
  • Black Adam – TBD
  • Minecraft – TBD

One surprising twist was Wonder Woman 1984 has held her ground on Dec. 25, 2020. If it stays there will be the question.

With the pandemic continuing to change situations on a daily basis, we highly recommend not taking any of these releases dates as being firm.
